第九条 of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 USC 1681 et seq. (“第九条”), covers certain forms of sexual 骚扰, which is a form of discrimination. “性骚扰,” as defined by and within the scope of the 第九条 regulations issued by the United States 部门 of Education, 34 C.F.R. 部分106, 包括基于性别的不受欢迎的行为, 比如不受欢迎的性挑逗, 性要求, 还有其他口头上的, 非语言的, 或者与性有关的身体行为. 大学雇员的报告要求

College employees* must report possible sexual misconduct to 凯瑟琳·O’grady, 第九条协调员, to make sure that the impacted individual is offered appropriate 资源 and necessary protection. Responsible employees should not disclose information to local law enforcement.

• you will be linked to potential 资源; and
• you will be treated with respect and dignity as you think through how you would like to proceed.

The College encourages reporting sexual misconduct and 基于性别的暴力 in all cases. Impacted individuals who report misconduct will generally not be held responsible for actions that might otherwise constitute a violation of the Social Code, as long as their actions did not put another student or the community at risk.

Bystanders are witnesses to incidents of sexual assault or 基于性别的暴力. They have the opportunity to intervene and make a difference on campus. 积极的旁观者可以选择:
